What to expect at your teen's dentist appointment

Your teenager’s first dental visit with us will include an initial exam that will take about one hour. We encourage participation and if you have any questions or concerns in regards to your routine dental care, our Doctors and RDAs will be more than happy to help you out.

At the beginning of your visit our staff will review your health history form with you and discuss any specific concerns. You will then be introduced to our dental team, have a tour of the office, and our amenities. Diagnostic radiographs will be taken to determine your dental condition. The first visit includes a professional cleaning along with fluoride application. Your dentist will complete a comprehensive examination by evaluating the mouth’s hard and soft tissues along with a full head and neck examination. If there are any additional services that are needed, any existing dental problems, or proposed treatment they will be discussed and appointments made at that time. In addition to offering oral hygiene instructions and suggestions to upkeep with your teens dental hygiene.
